Dharmendra Yadav Criticizes BJP on Inflation and Unemployment, Defends Akhilesh Yadav

Azamgarh, August 2: Dharmendra Yadav, a Member of Parliament from the Samajwadi Party, has sharply criticized the BJP over issues of inflation, unemployment, and law and order. He dismissed allegations made by AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, asserting that both the Hindu community and minorities have complete faith in SP leader Akhilesh Yadav.

Responding to Prime Minister Modi’s remarks about youth being the future of the nation, Yadav stated, “The Prime Minister should have understood this before the 20th. These very youths have trusted PM Modi and made him Prime Minister three times. However, when the youth raised a legitimate demand regarding the NEET paper leak, they called for the resignation of the Education Minister, but the government initially did not take them seriously.”

He added, “As long as the government’s intentions remain poor, laws will not bring about any change. If they had acknowledged this before the protests, thousands of our youth would not have faced police brutality from Jantar Mantar to various parts of the country. It was only when PM Modi realized that the youth of the nation would not back down that he praised them.”

Yadav also took aim at the BJP regarding a complaint filed against Pappu Yadav, stating, “BJP members neither respect nor believe in Sanatan Dharma. If they had any morality, they would have filed an FIR against their own national president first, who danced with a flag during the welcome of Lord Hanuman.”

He accused the BJP leaders of exploiting Sanatan for votes and money, saying, “We, as members of the Samajwadi Party, cannot accept this. We are exposing the alleged theft and looting of donations at the Ram temple and will continue to do so.”

Regarding the upcoming 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, he commented on the SP-Congress alliance, stating, “Our top leadership, including Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi, will decide the course of action. I hope that leaders, workers, supporters, and allies from both parties in the ‘India’ bloc will respect their decisions and ensure the victory of the chosen candidate.”

On Owaisi’s statements, he remarked, “Whether it’s the minorities in Uttar Pradesh or our Hindu brothers, they are all aware of every activity of the Samajwadi Party. They have complete trust in Akhilesh Yadav, which will continue. I don’t feel the need to respond to every statement made by others.”
