Lucknow, September 3: BJP leader Shyamdhani Rahi has targeted Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav over the release of an AI-generated video featuring Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Rahi stated that Adityanath is a symbol of respect for religion and culture, not just in India but internationally. He condemned the attempt to defame the Chief Minister through such videos.
In an interview, Rahi expressed disapproval of Yadav’s actions, suggesting that someone who cannot respect their own father cannot respect others. He claimed that Yadav is mentally bankrupt and in need of medical attention. Rahi announced that the Hindu community would take legal action regarding this matter and expressed confidence that they would re-elect Yogi Adityanath as Chief Minister in 2027.
Meanwhile, Maulana Yasub Abbas raised concerns about the destruction of Hindu temples and the persecution of Hindus in Pakistan. He highlighted the need for protests against the injustices faced by Hindus and the Shia community in Pakistan, where incidents of temple demolitions have been reported. Abbas accused a particular ideology of promoting such violence and criticized the Pakistani government for its alleged support.
Abbas also questioned the government’s actions against madrasas in Uttarakhand, asking why similar actions were not taken against schools for younger children. He argued that closing madrasas would harm the country and emphasized the need for careful decision-making regarding the educational systems of any community.
On the other hand, Karoli Shankar Mahadev, media coordinator for the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad, welcomed the government’s actions against madrasas that do not meet established standards. He insisted that government regulations should be strictly enforced, noting that some madrasas have allegedly been linked to terrorist activities over the past 50 years. He advocated for action against any madrasa that fails to comply with state standards.
