Mumbai, September 3: The Gujarat government is intensifying its efforts to attract investments for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027 by organizing a special roadshow in Mumbai on Thursday. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi will meet with leading industrialists and various consuls general from different countries during this event.
The roadshow will take place at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Colaba, Mumbai. This follows an inaugural event held in New Delhi on August 31.
The 11th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is scheduled for January 10-12, 2027, in Gandhinagar. This year’s theme is “Developed Gujarat – Building a Global Future.”
The Mumbai event will feature discussions with consuls general and industry leaders, addressed by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi. The program will begin with a welcome speech by R. Mukundan, the National President of the Confederation of Indian Industry. Following this, Mamta Verma, Additional Chief Secretary of Gujarat’s Industry and Mines Department, will present the framework for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027.
Several prominent industrialists will share their experiences of doing business in Gujarat. Gujarat’s Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Das will also address the gathering.
Before the main event, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will hold separate meetings with representatives from major companies, including Reliance Industries, Tata Trusts, Mahindra Group, and others.
These meetings will focus on sectors such as advanced manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, IT, financial services, green energy, oil and energy, biotechnology, real estate, industrial automation, heavy engineering, and petroleum.
A special roundtable discussion with young entrepreneurs will also be organized to discuss the Vibrant Gujarat Summit and investment opportunities available in the state.
The meetings will emphasize investment opportunities, expansion plans, and potential strategic partnerships. The Gujarat government aims to inform the industry about the state’s industrial infrastructure, facilities, and policies tailored for various sectors before the summit.
The Mumbai roadshow comes just days after the event in New Delhi, where Gujarat invited domestic and foreign investors to participate in the summit, highlighting opportunities in manufacturing, emerging technologies, and green energy sectors.
The state government has identified semiconductors, artificial intelligence, fintech, and green hydrogen as key focus sectors for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027.
During the New Delhi program, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also met with foreign diplomats, urging them to take advantage of investment opportunities in Gujarat. He highlighted the potential in sectors such as semiconductors, electronics, renewable energy, electric vehicles, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, textiles, aerospace, and defense.
