Danish Azad Ansari Criticizes Oppositions Agenda to Mislead Public

Lucknow, July 1: Uttar Pradesh Minister Danish Azad Ansari has commented on various political issues, including the SIR process in Uttar Pradesh, opposition claims against the government, and the updating of Waqf property documents.

In a discussion regarding a letter written by Congress to the Chief Justice of India about the SIR opposition, Danish Azad stated, “The agenda of Congress and opposition parties is solely to mislead the public. The intention of the Election Commissioner was to conduct fair and transparent elections through SIR, which has been evident on the ground. In states where SIR elections were held, positive results were observed, and voter turnout increased. SIR is a process to rectify the voter list. The opposition is continuously spreading confusion to prove that they have no agenda left. There is no trust in the opposition among the public. They aim to mislead the public for their political gain.”

Akhilesh Yadav claims that the BJP government will lose in Uttar Pradesh in 2027, while Rahul Gandhi speaks of the BJP losing at the center. In response, Danish Azad remarked, “Leaders of these parties have made such claims in 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2024, which have proven to be false. The Samajwadi Party and Congress have faced defeat in every election. Wherever elections are held, Congress claims victory, but the results are contrary. Where Congress or opposition parties have won, they did not question the elections or the SIR process. Disrespecting the public mandate is proving costly for the opposition.”

Regarding the closure of the Madrasa Board in Uttarakhand, Minister Danish Azad Ansari stated, “The Uttarakhand government has upgraded madrasa education. Through the Minority Education Authority, the government will provide quality education to children from minority communities, which is a positive step.”

Minister Danish Azad Ansari further mentioned, “When our government introduced the Waqf (Amendment) Act, the aim was to digitize Waqf properties and bring them onto an online platform. The objective was to remove illegal encroachments on Waqf properties, rectify related documents, and ensure proper auditing to increase the income generated from these properties.”

On the phone conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Minister Danish Azad Ansari said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked with incredible dedication and effort for India’s progress. Since 2014, India’s reputation, respect, and acceptance on the international stage have grown.”
