New Delhi, May 25: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a significant update regarding the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026. The exam, originally scheduled for May 28, has been postponed due to changes in the Bakrid (Eid-ul-Zuha) holiday dates.
In a public notice issued by the NTA, it was stated that according to a memorandum from the Department of Personnel and Training dated May 22, the holiday date for Eid-ul-Zuha has been altered. Consequently, the CUET UG 2026 exam, planned for both shifts on May 28, has been temporarily deferred.
The NTA has assured affected candidates that new exam dates will be announced soon. Students are advised to regularly check the official NTA website and the CUET website for updates.
For any inquiries or assistance, candidates can contact the NTA helpline at 011-40759000 or send their issues via email.
Meanwhile, the NTA has initiated the refund process for candidates who participated in the canceled NEET UG 2026 exam. Students can now visit the official website to submit their bank details and receive a refund of the exam fee.
According to the notification issued by the NTA, the refund option has been activated on the NEET UG 2026 registration portal. Candidates who registered for the exam can log in using their application credentials and complete the refund process through the provided link.
To receive a refund, candidates must provide necessary information related to their bank accounts. The NTA has clarified that once the bank details are submitted, no changes or corrections can be made. Therefore, candidates are advised to carefully verify all information.
The deadline for submitting bank details for the refund process is set for May 27 at 11:50 PM.
