Munich, September 3: The ‘One India, One World’ event is set to take place in Munich, Germany, on September 12. Gwalior will play a significant role in this event, as the local organization, Udbhav Cultural and Sports Institute, is a key collaborator. The institute’s chief patron is Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
During a press conference, Udbhav’s president, Dr. Keshav Pandey, and secretary, Deepak Tomar, shared details about the event. It is being organized in conjunction with the International Day of Peace, under the joint auspices of the Sadguru Darshan Trust and the Indian Consulate in Germany.
In September and October, Udbhav will host two major events. The first will be the ‘One India, One World’ program in Munich, where teams from various countries will showcase their cultures and cuisines. This initiative aims to promote global peace through cultural exchange and culinary diversity.
Additionally, a quiz themed around ‘One India, One World’ will be held, featuring a performance by renowned Odissi dancer Vani Madhav. Local artists will also be taught the intricacies of classical dance during this event.
Furthermore, under the guidance of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, the 21st International Cultural Olympiad, Udbhav Utsav, will take place in Gwalior from October 24 to 27. This festival will include competitions in classical dance, semi-classical dance, folk dance, instrumental bands, and painting across various categories.
A Model United Nations Summit (MUN) will also be organized, where students from around the world will discuss global issues.
