BJP Launches Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to Celebrate Modis Birthday

Patna, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17 with a nationwide initiative called ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.’ This year marks the 25th anniversary of Modi’s public service, starting from his time as Gujarat’s Chief Minister.

During a press conference in Bettiah, BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal emphasized the significance of this occasion. He noted that Modi has dedicated the last 25 years to serving the nation in various constitutional roles. Inspired by this spirit of service, the party will observe the month of September as ‘Service Month.’

Jaiswal stated that the campaign will include a series of activities over the next month. These will involve lighting lamps in homes, conducting cleanliness drives, and engaging in community service projects at prominent locations. Additionally, the party will encourage beneficiaries of various central government schemes to light lamps at their homes as a gesture of gratitude.

Highlighting Modi’s political journey, Jaiswal remarked that it began on October 7, 2001, when he took the oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. This milestone will be celebrated on October 7, 2026, marking a quarter-century of his commitment to public service. He praised Modi’s dedication and urged BJP workers to embody this ethos in their values.

Upendra Kushwaha, leader of the Rashtriya Lok Morcha, also commented on Modi’s birthday, calling it a significant day with numerous events planned across the country. When asked about the recent controversy regarding West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari eating fish in a temple, Kushwaha refrained from commenting, stating he was not fully informed on the matter.

Regarding the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Kushwaha expressed confidence in the NDA’s prospects, claiming that public sentiment is favorable and indicating a likely return to power for the NDA in the state.
