BJP Criticizes TMC Over Law and Order in Bengal Assembly Elections

New Delhi, March 30: BJP leaders launched a fierce attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal on Sunday. They accused the TMC of promoting chaos, corruption, and economic decline. The leaders claimed that the people of the state are now yearning for political change.

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari stated that the residents of West Bengal are eager to end the government-backed thuggery, crime, and oppression of Hindus. He emphasized that power lies in the hands of the people, and the ongoing charge sheet by Union Home Minister Amit Shah reflects the allegations made by the public. Tiwari remarked that the people are now contemplating, “Mamata Didi, enough is enough. It’s time to give BJP a chance.”

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala alleged that the TMC government has looted the state over the past 15 years and fundamentally altered its core values. He claimed that during this period, the TMC has been responsible for the most extensive looting in West Bengal, transforming the state from “Maa, Mati, Manush” to “Save Rapists, Save Corrupt, Save Bhai Jaan, Save Babri, Save Outsiders, Save Intruders.”

Poonawala also pointed out that thousands of industries have left the state, stating that approximately 6,000 industries have departed, while Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee seems unconcerned. He asserted that her only worry is to ensure that intruders do not leave the state.

Concerns regarding women’s safety and employment were also raised by Poonawala, who accused the TMC government of allowing the highest number of atrocities against women and acid attacks in the country. He noted that around 3 million jobs have been lost in the state and referred to alleged irregularities in the School Service Commission (SSC) recruitment process.
