Mumbai, April 1: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam emphasized that there should be no political differences among parties regarding immigration issues.
In a recent conversation in Mumbai, Nirupam stated that illegal immigration is not just a slogan; it poses a significant threat to national security. He highlighted the issue of Bangladeshi immigrants, which not only creates employment challenges but also raises serious security concerns. He pointed out that these immigrants are often involved in drug trafficking and terrorism-related activities.
Nirupam referenced Prime Minister Modi’s remarks, noting that the NDA’s commitment against illegal immigration is not merely an electoral promise. He insisted that political parties must unite on this critical issue.
On the topic of Karnataka MLAs receiving three free tickets for IPL matches, Nirupam remarked that this practice has become somewhat of a norm. He expressed that instead of attending IPL matches, legislators should focus on serving the public. If they require assistance, they should seek it from the government.
Addressing the issue of Naxalism, Nirupam claimed that the presence of Naxalites in India is diminishing. He expressed optimism that India is moving towards liberation from ‘red terrorism,’ crediting PM Modi’s government for its commitment to eradicating Naxalism within the set deadline.
