Lucknow, August 5: Uttar Pradesh Minister O.P. Rajbhar has sharply criticized the Samajwadi Party (SP) regarding its Brahmin conference. He stated that if the SP wishes to discuss issues concerning Brahmins, they must first account for their past actions. Rajbhar questioned, “Will they discuss the case of a Brahmin boy who was brutally attacked in Ghazipur?”
He also targeted Akhilesh Yadav while referencing Kannauj, saying, “In Kannauj, a Brahmin’s son was a booth agent. Akhilesh Yadav had claimed he was opposed, yet his parents are still searching for him. Will this be discussed at the Brahmin conference?”
Minister Sanjay Nishad emphasized the intelligence and political awareness of the Brahmin community. He stated, “They understand that power is the solution to problems and ensures respect and security. No one can mislead the Brahmin community.”
Minister Sunil Sharma added, “This will have no impact. Brahmins are nationalists and the protectors of Sanatan. Those who disrespect Sanatan can hold fake Brahmin conferences, but it won’t matter.”
BJP legislator Ramesh Mishra also attacked the SP, stating, “They have been claiming since 2017 that the Brahmin community will support the Samajwadi Party. But when has that actually happened? Go to any booth, and you will find Brahmins voting for the BJP. I can assure you that the Brahmin community has consistently supported the BJP.”
Mishra further asserted, “No genuine conference is taking place, nor is there significant participation from the Brahmin community. While a few may attend, the community stands firmly with the BJP. They will not align with those who oppose Sanatan.”
BJP legislator Abhay Singh accused the SP of disrespecting Brahmins, stating, “The Samajwadi Party has greatly insulted the Brahmin community. Journalists were once asked, ‘Are you Pandey, Tiwari, or Shukla?’ Now, as elections approach, they are trying to appease all communities.”
