Trump Threatens Iran with Destruction, Calls for Agreement as Only Option

United Nations, September 22 (Daily Kiran) : President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. He stated that if Tehran does not reach an agreement with Washington, it could face destruction. Trump presented Iran with a tough choice: negotiate or face military action from the United States.

He emphasized that Iran has the opportunity to enter into a deal that would allow for rebuilding and prosperity. However, he cautioned that the alternative would lead to significant military consequences. “Should I completely destroy the Islamic Republic swiftly, ensuring they never have the chance to harm others again?” Trump questioned. He also suggested that pushing Iran into a dire situation could eliminate any hope for future greatness.

Despite the tough rhetoric, Trump expressed confidence that Iran would agree to a deal following the upcoming midterm elections. He believes that the Iranian leadership recognizes the futility of not negotiating. While he is not a candidate in the elections, Trump plans to campaign for Republican candidates, ensuring that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons.

The president called on other nations to impose complete economic isolation on Iran until it ceases attacks on commercial vessels, abandons its nuclear ambitions, and stops supporting terrorism. He accused Tehran of violating ceasefire agreements meant to facilitate nuclear talks and thanked the UN Security Council for adopting a resolution condemning attacks on commercial ships.

Trump claimed that “Operation Epic Fury” has decimated Iran’s navy, air force, radar systems, and much of its missile and drone production capabilities. He noted that the only issue not resolved is inflation, which has soared above 300% in Iran.

Since the conflict began, the U.S. Navy has transported over one billion barrels of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, with more oil traffic now than at any previous time. Trump dismissed suggestions that the U.S. is running low on ammunition, stating that Washington has more than enough and is replenishing its stockpiles at an unprecedented rate.
