
Ranchi, June 6: Nitin Naveen, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stated on Friday in Ranchi that Jharkhand was created as a separate state by the BJP government, and it is the BJP that will shape it into the dream state of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Speaking at the ‘Prabuddh Nagarik Samvad’ event held at the Carnival Banquet Hall in Dibdih, Naveen emphasized that the BJP has demonstrated its commitment to development, good governance, and public welfare. He highlighted the achievements of the Modi government, which has lifted 250 million people out of poverty, provided free food grains to 800 million individuals, and ensured health security for millions of families through the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Referring to the goal of a developed India by 2047 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Naveen stressed that this vision can only be realized with the cooperation of all sections of society. He noted that the central government’s Jan Dhan scheme and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) have successfully delivered the benefits of government programs directly to the people. The government is focused on increasing farmers’ incomes, promoting organic farming, and creating job creators rather than just providing jobs for the youth.
He claimed that the presence of over 200,000 startups and more than 125 unicorns in the country is a testament to India’s growing entrepreneurial spirit. Discussing women’s empowerment, he mentioned that the government has achieved its goal of creating three million ‘Lakshmi Didis.’ Naveen pointed out that while the opposition mocked the launch of Digital India, today India stands among the leading countries in digital payments.
He asserted that every time the opposition ridiculed the BJP, the public’s support for the party only grew stronger. On national security, he stated that the Modi government will not compromise on the country’s safety. He highlighted actions against Naxalism, self-reliance in the defense sector, and an increase in defense exports, asserting that India is now in a stronger global position.
Nitin Naveen also mentioned significant cultural and educational initiatives undertaken by the government, including the Ram Temple, Kashi Corridor, new AIIMS, medical colleges, IITs, and Eklavya schools. He urged the youth to engage in positive politics and participate in nation-building. The event was also addressed by BJP state president Aditya Sahu, who noted that since 2014, there have been significant changes in development and public welfare, emphasizing the need for participation from all sections of society to achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, educators, doctors, industrialists, and social activists.
