
Mumbai, June 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to break the record for the longest continuous term as Prime Minister on June 10. On this occasion, Shiv Sena spokesperson Krishna Hegde praised Modi’s achievements, stating that under his leadership, India has made unprecedented progress both nationally and internationally.
In a recent conversation, Hegde noted that June 10 will be a significant day in Indian politics, as Modi will surpass the long tenure of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, becoming one of the longest-serving Prime Ministers in the country.
He emphasized that Modi has not only maintained a long tenure but has also elevated India’s global identity and reputation to new heights during his time in office.
Hegde remarked that India’s international standing has strengthened under Modi’s leadership, making the country’s role among major global nations far more influential than before. He highlighted that India’s voice is now taken seriously on global platforms, with the nation playing a decisive role on various international issues.
The spokesperson also referenced India’s response during the COVID-19 pandemic, stating that under Modi’s guidance, the country ensured the safety of its citizens while also providing vaccines to several nations, exemplifying its commitment to humanity. He noted that India’s initiative to send vaccines during the pandemic significantly enhanced the country’s positive image worldwide.
Hegde pointed out that historic measures such as the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the facilitation of the Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya, and the abolition of the triple talaq practice were made possible under Modi’s leadership.
He mentioned that the central government has launched over 200 welfare schemes, benefiting various sections of society. The government aims to ensure that these initiatives reach the last person in line, utilizing technology and transparent systems to achieve this goal.
On the economic front, Hegde highlighted the achievements of the Modi government, noting an increase in the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and improvements in per capita income. He claimed that India has emerged as one of the leading economies in the world, with growing investor confidence in the nation.
Hegde expressed that since 2014, India has established new dimensions of development and is rapidly moving towards the goal of a developed India. He is confident that under Modi’s leadership, India will emerge even stronger as a global economic and strategic power in the coming years.
