Patna, September 7 (Daily Kiran) : The Bihar government is on high alert due to worsening flood conditions, as stated by Minister Dilip Jayaswal during a recent discussion. He noted that following a flood disaster in Nepal, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary took proactive measures to prepare the Gandak and West and East Champaran regions for potential flooding.
Jayawsal emphasized that the government is diligently working to provide relief to affected villages. Community kitchens have been set up, and Chief Minister Chaudhary is personally visiting flood-hit areas to oversee the relief efforts. “The Bihar government is committed to assisting flood victims, and we will take all necessary actions,” he affirmed.
In response to a recent building collapse in Delhi’s Saty Niketan, Jayaswal remarked that it would be impractical to demolish all buildings due to one incident. He stressed the need for homeowners to be vigilant and suggested launching an awareness campaign to encourage residents to assess their property conditions.
Jayaswal also criticized the Congress party for its lack of respect towards Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He pointed out that after Ambedkar’s death, Congress members did not provide land for his burial, forcing his wife to transport his body to Bombay. “When Congress members pass away, they are granted acres of land, yet Ambedkar’s family faced obstacles,” he stated.
He further highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, a memorial for Ambedkar was established in Delhi, urging Congress to reflect on their treatment of the leader.
Regarding Rahul Gandhi’s recent “Voice of Students” event in Indore, Jayaswal accused him of attempting to incite youth and students, claiming that Gandhi has resorted to misleading propaganda as public support wanes. “The people of the country are wise to these tactics,” he concluded.
