Jaipur, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma urged members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to approach the upcoming panchayat elections with the same determination and organizational strength that led to their recent success in urban local body elections. Speaking to party workers from Kota and Bundi at the Allen Auditorium, Sharma emphasized that the party’s greatest asset lies in its dedicated volunteers.
He credited the party’s achievements to the hard work, spirit of service, and commitment of its members. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sharma noted that elections are won not by leaders but by grassroots workers at the booth level.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the BJP had formed boards in 204 out of 309 urban local bodies in Rajasthan, with the party securing victories in five out of six local bodies in Kota district. In Itawa, candidates supported by the BJP also emerged victorious. Sharma interpreted these results as a clear indication of public support for the party.
He remarked that holding organizational positions within the BJP is a formal arrangement, but serving the organization is a lifelong responsibility. Sharma urged elected representatives to diligently fulfill their duties and adhere to the principle of “serving the nation through serving the people.”
The Chief Minister called on BJP workers to prepare for the panchayat elections and strengthen the party at the village, panchayat samiti, and district council levels. He stressed the importance of extensive outreach in villages and communities, encouraging greater engagement with new voters and women.
Additionally, Sharma urged party members to effectively utilize social media to disseminate information about government schemes and communicate the party’s message to the public.
