Bihar CM Samrat Chaudhary Issues Warning to Officials Over Pending Files

Munger, April 26: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary visited his assembly constituency, Tarapur, on Sunday. During his visit, he listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. Addressing the public, Chaudhary expressed that becoming Chief Minister is a significant responsibility and challenge for him.

He emphasized his commitment to serving his constituency and completing unfinished projects. Referring to the development initiatives of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Chaudhary stated that he would continue the work of beautifying and developing Bihar.

In a stern message to officials, he announced that the Chief Minister’s office would monitor activities at the block and circle levels. Any official who keeps files pending for more than a month would face action.

Chaudhary also clarified that the government is providing free electricity up to 125 units, assuring that there is no shortage of funds. He issued a strong warning against encroachments, stating that action would be taken against anyone occupying government land, regardless of whose home it may be. He mentioned that even actions are being taken against his own residence in Tarapur, reinforcing that the law applies equally to all.

He shared plans to provide one kilowatt of solar power to every household, ensuring that citizens would not have to rely on the government for electricity in the future.

Following this, the Chief Minister visited the historic Dhol Pahadi in the Asarganj block, where he offered prayers at the temple. He also laid the foundation for a project worth ₹12.49 crores aimed at developing the area as an eco-tourism hub. This project will include picnic spots, parks, a grand Shiva statue, banquet halls, and craft shops. Additionally, modern parking, paved roads, solar lights, rainwater harvesting, and improved drinking water facilities will be established. The Baba Mauninath temple and ancient caves will be connected to the tourism circuit, making it a major center for religious tourism.

Chaudhary also laid the foundation for a ₹26.31 crore eco-tourism project for the development of Baba Ucheshwar Nath Dham in the Tetia Bamber block. This site, located on Devghara Hill, is a confluence of faith and history, hosting a large fair during Mahashivratri.
