Achievements of Modi Government Highlighted by Haryana BJP MLA Laxman Singh Yadav

Rewari, June 17: Laxman Singh Yadav, a BJP MLA from Haryana, showcased the achievements of the Modi government during an exhibition in Rewari on Tuesday. He criticized the opposition’s stance on development and national security issues.

Speaking to the media, Yadav mentioned that the district administration organized the exhibition to highlight the 12 years of accomplishments under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that citizens are benefiting from this initiative and gaining valuable information.

Yadav asserted that he can confidently state that significant efforts have been made for the welfare of the poor during this period. The Modi government has lifted 250 million people above the poverty line. Infrastructure improvements include roads along the borders and railway lines extending to Kashmir. He emphasized that every district is now connected by national highways, with Rewari district being well-linked to highways from all directions. Additionally, 600 million people have benefited from the Ayushman scheme.

The BJP leader pointed out that before 2014, India ranked 11th in the global economy, but it has now risen to become the fourth-largest economy in the world. He criticized the previous Congress government, stating that funds sent would often diminish to just 15 paise by the time they reached the ground. In contrast, under PM Modi’s leadership, funds are now directly transferred to beneficiaries’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

During his address, Yadav sharply criticized opposition parties for their resistance to the BJP. He claimed that the achievements of the Modi government are difficult for the opposition to accept. He highlighted that the opposition has raised questions about the Indian Army and constitutional institutions like the Election Commission, suggesting that there has been nothing during these 12 years that the opposition has appreciated.
