Hingoli, August 15: Abhijit Dipke, the founder and president of the Cockroach People’s Party (CJP), returned to his hometown in Hingoli, Maharashtra, where he visited local government schools. During his visit, he revealed that his Instagram account had been temporarily disabled.
In a conversation with the media, Dipke stated, “Today, on the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, I came back to my village and toured the local school. The conditions here are dire. There is no drinking water for the children, and the state of the washrooms is appalling. The children informed us that there is no water available in the washrooms. The school windows are broken and have yet to be repaired; they are merely covered with banners.”
Dipke further explained, “This morning, I suddenly lost access to my Instagram account. The school improvement campaign is receiving tremendous support on social media. Even young children are creating videos highlighting the poor conditions of their schools and posting them online. Some schools lack proper roads, and there are issues like a shortage of teachers. These videos are going viral, which has caused some individuals to panic and attempt to shut down or hack the CJP account.”
Fortunately, Dipke later announced that the CJP’s Instagram account had been recovered.
Additionally, the CJP posted on X, “Today, the Prime Minister stated during his speech at the Red Fort that we will connect one crore people with AI. Similarly, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed during the COVID-19 pandemic that we would launch the Abhyudaya scheme to help youth prepare for competitive exams. However, the results of the Abhyudaya scheme have been zero, despite spending millions. If not, the government should provide selection data. The question remains: will this initiative also turn out to be a failure like the Uttar Pradesh scheme?”
