Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Urges Youth to Balance Social Media with Real-Life Responsibilities

Chhatarpur, August 15: On the occasion of Independence Day, the national flag was hoisted at the Sanatan Vedic Gurukulam located in Baba Bageshwar Dham. The head of Bageshwar Dham, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, emphasized the importance of national unity and instilling a sense of patriotism among the youth while raising the tricolor.

In an interview with a news agency, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri remarked that the students and teachers at the Vedic Gurukulam, who hold faith in Lord Ram, are imbued with a spirit of patriotism. The enthusiasm and dedication towards the nation were clearly visible during the Independence Day celebrations. He described this display as unprecedented and stressed that the younger generation must remain aware of their country and culture.

Shastri referred to the singing of ‘Vande Mataram‘ at the Red Fort as an extraordinary moment for the nation, noting that this year’s celebrations were particularly focused on India’s future, represented by Generation Z.

He acknowledged the presence of numerous distinguished guests at the event held at the Red Fort and praised the message delivered by the Prime Minister. He expressed pride in a leadership that prioritizes the nation’s interests.

Amidst the growing influence of technology and artificial intelligence, Shastri advised the youth to stay connected to their emotions and real-life experiences. He stated that while technological advancement is essential in the age of AI, it is crucial for individuals not to forget their feelings.

He urged young people to pay attention not only to social media ‘reels’ but also to real-life responsibilities, values, and their duties towards the nation. Shastri emphasized that while rapid development is necessary in today’s fast-paced world, maintaining human values, culture, and patriotism is equally important. Following the flag hoisting, the national anthem was sung at the Gurukulam, with students, priests, and teachers participating enthusiastically. The Independence Day event at Bageshwar Dham concluded with this significant message.
