Vinod Bansal Calls for Self-Reflection on Independence Day, Emphasizes Duties Alongside Rights

New Delhi, August 15: On the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, Vinod Bansal, the national spokesperson for the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), extended his greetings and best wishes to the citizens of India. He emphasized that Independence Day is not just a time for celebration but also a moment for self-reflection. Bansal urged the nation to consider what it has gained and lost over the past 80 years of freedom.

In a conversation with a news agency, Bansal noted that the entire country is moving forward with a spirit of unity and solidarity. People are taking a pledge to fulfill their responsibilities towards the nation while holding the tricolor flag.

He stressed that citizens should not only focus on their rights but also diligently fulfill their duties. Bansal expressed that every Indian should take pride in the nation’s progress and contribute collectively to accelerate the country’s development.

He remarked that India is steadily advancing on the path of development, and every citizen should participate in this journey. There should be no obstacles to progress; instead, an environment must be created that fosters rapid growth. He appealed to the citizens to prioritize national interest and make positive contributions at their level.

Bansal also spoke about promoting the concept of Ram Rajya. He mentioned that the temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya has been constructed, and now, the participation of every citizen is essential for the nation’s development. According to him, only when every Indian contributes to the nation’s growth can the celebration of the 80th year of independence be meaningful.

In response to Rahul Gandhi‘s statements in the Lok Sabha, Bansal criticized the Congress party. He described it as unfortunate that the country’s oldest party, which ruled India for a long time, has fallen to such a low political level that it seems to forget its present, past, and future.

He condemned the alleged remarks made about the Prime Minister, calling them objectionable. Bansal stated that the continuous degradation of the dignity of words and speech is shameful, labeling it as an example of the lowest level of politics in the country.
