Women Police Officers in Ghaziabad Organize Tricolor Scooter Rally to Promote Safety

Ghaziabad, August 15: Ahead of Independence Day, women police officers in Ghaziabad held a tricolor scooter rally to promote patriotism, women’s safety, and awareness. This initiative, organized by the Ghaziabad Commissionerate, aimed to strengthen the sense of security among women in the city and build trust in the police.

The rally was part of the government’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, taking place on the eve of Independence Day. A large number of female officers rode scooters while holding the national flag, traversing various neighborhoods in the city. The event also sought to raise awareness about the significance of Independence Day and the vital role women play in nation-building.

Keshav Chaudhary, the Additional Police Commissioner for Traffic and Crime, stated that the scooter rally was conducted by all women officers from the Commissionerate. A primary goal was to instill a sense of safety among women. Additionally, the initiative aimed to spread awareness about preventing and controlling crimes against women through the efforts of police personnel.

The Additional Police Commissioner emphasized the crucial role of women in nation-building, which was another reason for organizing the rally. The police established a special route for the event, including major markets and areas frequented by women. This was intended to ensure that the message of safety reached as many women and citizens as possible.

During the rally, women police officers aimed to convey that the police are fully committed to women’s safety and are continuously working to prevent crimes. This initiative seeks to bolster the confidence of women citizens in Ghaziabad regarding their safety, assuring them that the police are always ready to assist and protect them when needed.
