Uttar Pradeshs Service Commitment Campaign to Reach Every Needy Citizen, Says Minister

Gorakhpur, September 13 (Daily Kiran) : In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh‘s Water Power Minister Swatantra Dev Singh discussed the Service Commitment Campaign and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) electoral preparations. He emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s leadership, unprecedented efforts have been made for the welfare and development of the poor. Singh noted that effective control has been established over terrorism, and left-wing extremism has significantly diminished. He asserted that the current security situation in the country is far better than during the Congress-led government.

The Service Commitment Campaign, running from September 17 to October 17, aims to ensure that no eligible person is left out from benefiting from government schemes. Singh stated that despite over four million houses being constructed, any poor individual without a home will be identified and assisted. The campaign will also provide access to toilets, Ayushman cards, pensions, and other welfare schemes from both the central and state governments.

During the campaign, village gatherings will be organized. Anganwadi workers, who are responsible for delivering nutritional food to underprivileged children, will be honored. Additionally, children and youth excelling in education and social service will also receive recognition.

Singh highlighted that the BJP is not only active during elections; its workers engage with the public year-round. He remarked that BJP members are dedicated to the nation’s interest and the welfare of the poor, serving the public while in power and advocating for citizen issues when in opposition.

He pointed out that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, government schemes have reached marginalized communities that were previously overlooked. Essential services such as permanent housing, nutrition, and education for daughters are now being provided to poor families, which is why the public continues to trust BJP leadership.

Looking ahead to the 2027 assembly elections, Singh expressed confidence in the hard work of the party’s workers, Modi’s popularity, and Adityanath’s leadership. He claimed that BJP workers rise above casteism, regionalism, and dynastic politics to serve the nation and society.

The Service Commitment Campaign will kick off on September 17, coinciding with Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, and will include cleanliness drives, welfare programs for the poor, public outreach initiatives, and various social activities. Singh underscored that Modi’s 25 years in public service symbolize dedication, discipline, national commitment, and concern for the poor, which forms the foundation of this campaign.
