Banda, September 13 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh visited Banda on Sunday to distribute relief materials and financial assistance to families affected by heavy rainfall. During the event, he emphasized that the government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, stands firmly with every affected family during this crisis, working diligently to ensure that government schemes reach those in need.
While addressing the gathering, Singh mentioned his role as the minister in charge of Banda, responsible for overseeing development projects and government initiatives in the district. He regularly reviews departmental activities and noted that the recent assessments showed satisfactory progress in most sectors, indicating that government programs are effectively reaching the public.
Highlighting the impact of the recent heavy rains, Singh pointed out that several villages experienced disruptions to daily life, prompting the administration to initiate relief efforts. Relief materials and financial support are being provided to affected families to help them return to normalcy as soon as possible. He reiterated that it is the government’s duty to share in the suffering of the people and ensure assistance is delivered with compassion.
Responding to accusations of corruption from the opposition, Singh targeted Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, stating he sees no corruption in Banda and dismissed the claims against the health department as baseless. He quipped that perhaps Yadav only notices corruption during the BJP’s tenure while ignoring issues from his own administration.
Singh asserted that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is rapidly progressing towards becoming a corruption-free and crime-free state. The government has a clear policy of taking strict action against those involved in corruption or crime, with zero tolerance for negligence at any level.
He assured that from the District Magistrate to the Superintendent of Police, officials are continuously working to assist affected families. The government’s goal is to ensure that no victim faces difficulties in receiving relief and rehabilitation support.
During the program, Singh distributed relief supplies and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to reaching every individual in need. He expressed hope for a swift return to normal life for the affected and instructed the administration to approach relief efforts with utmost sensitivity.
