Uttar Pradeshs Deputy CM Criticizes Previous Governments for States Decline

Lucknow, August 23: Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak, addressed journalists on Saturday, discussing various issues concerning the state. He asserted that previous governments had turned Uttar Pradesh into a backward state, but today it has emerged as revenue surplus. Development projects are progressing rapidly. The roads are in good condition, and infrastructure has significantly improved. If there are any issues, we are actively working to resolve them. However, one should ask the former leaders about the state of affairs during their tenure. There was a mafia in every district, but now that is no longer the case. Previously, electricity was available only one week out of two, but we have transformed the state’s image.

Pathak criticized the politics of appeasement that characterized the previous administrations. He noted that women could not venture out after 5 PM during those times. When questioned about this, the former leaders have no answers. He challenged them to demonstrate merit-based politics and to campaign for votes under the name of their old party.

He pointed out the stark contrast between the Samajwadi Party’s promises and their actions. Their work is driven by political motives, and he confidently stated that their party is heading for a downfall.

Pathak further emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh is now a revenue surplus state. We are providing world-class facilities to our people and ensuring that there is no compromise on development projects. Today, the youth of UP are showing the way for the nation.

Additionally, he responded to derogatory comments made about Jayant Chaudhary, stating that Chaudhary Charan Singh dedicated his life to farmers. Such remarks against Chaudhary are completely inappropriate, and we condemn them.

He also commented on the Congress party’s stance regarding “Vande Mataram,” claiming their opposition is solely due to appeasement of the Muslim community.
