Two Arrested in Dwarka Mor Murder Case, Including Minor

New Delhi, June 3: In a swift response to a murder case in the Dwarka Mor area of southwest Delhi, police have arrested three suspects, including a minor.

On Monday night, Sonu Kumar was attacked with sharp weapons near a banquet hall in Dwarka Mor. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his wounds. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Sonu Kumar, a resident of Mohan Garden.

Upon receiving news of the incident, the Dwarka district police team arrived at the scene to begin their investigation. They collected blood samples and other crucial evidence from the site. A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) was also called in to conduct a detailed examination and gather further evidence.

The police registered a murder case and intensified their investigation. During this process, they identified suspects and conducted raids at various locations. As a result, two accused individuals, Namesh Pandey alias Aman (22) and Chirag alias Aman (20), were apprehended. Both are residents of the Mohan Garden area. Additionally, a 17-year-old minor has also been taken into custody.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Kushal Pal Singh stated that the police solved the case through prompt investigation and continuous raids. He mentioned that interrogation of the suspects is ongoing, and a thorough inquiry into the motives behind the murder is underway.

The body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. Officials indicated that further legal action will be taken based on the post-mortem report and the interrogation of the suspects. Currently, the police are focused on piecing together the events leading up to the attack.
