Washington, March 14: President Donald Trump remains highly active on social media, often making headlines with his statements. On Truth Social, he shares his thoughts along with memes, cartoons, and various posters. Recently, he posted a meme featuring a photo of himself alongside former President Barack Obama.
In this meme, Trump compares the U.S. approach to Iran during Obama’s presidency with his own actions. The image shows Obama engaging in discussions with the Iranian regime, while another picture features Trump with missiles in the background, suggesting that he deals with Iran through military means.
This marks the second time during Trump’s presidency that such actions have been taken against Iran. Previously, in June 2025, the U.S. collaborated with Israel to conduct strikes aimed at halting Iran’s uranium enrichment, targeting its nuclear facilities and resulting in the deaths of several Iranian nuclear scientists.
Both the U.S. and Israel assert that their goal is to incapacitate Iran to prevent it from rebuilding its nuclear weapons capabilities. On Friday, Trump stated that the U.S. has “completely destroyed every military target” on Iran’s Kharg Island, a crucial hub for crude oil exports.
Additionally, Trump threatened that if Iran continues to obstruct ships in the Strait of Hormuz, he would target the island’s oil infrastructure. A video posted by Trump on Truth Social showcased attacks on the island, including strikes on airport facilities.
According to Iranian state media, following the strikes, Iran warned that any attack on its energy infrastructure would provoke retaliatory strikes against the regional infrastructure of oil companies that have American shares or collaborate with the U.S.
