TMCs Existence in Question: Ramkripal Yadav Critiques Mamata and Abhishek Banerjee

Patna, June 12: Bihar government minister Ramkripal Yadav has commented on the internal strife within the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and responded to Kalyan Banerjee’s ultimatum to Mamata Banerjee. He stated that the primary reason for discontent within the TMC is the unrest caused by Abhishek Banerjee. This unrest has led to several TMC legislators and MPs, including Kalyan Banerjee, expressing their dissatisfaction and leaving the party.

In an interview with a news agency, Ramkripal Yadav remarked, “The existence of TMC has come to an end. There is significant discontent among TMC legislators and MPs, primarily due to the turmoil instigated by Abhishek Banerjee. The party has lost support not only from the public but also from its workers, legislators, and MPs.”

He noted that Kalyan Banerjee is one of the close supporters of former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and his visible distress is evident. Naturally, anyone who has contributed significantly to the party and their leader over a long period would not accept a situation where the leader’s family dominates and rules in an overbearing manner. Ramkripal Yadav further stated, “This is why Kalyan Banerjee and other TMC legislators and MPs are unhappy and leaving the party.”

During the discussion, Ramkripal Yadav also expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership over the past 12 years. He highlighted Modi’s efforts in elevating the country to new heights and strengthening the economy, especially during challenging times for the global economy.

He mentioned that at the NITI Aayog meeting, Prime Minister Modi articulated his vision strongly. He has accomplished a lot towards realizing the dream of a ‘Developed India,’ yielding meaningful results.

Additionally, regarding the recent unopposed election of 10 MLCs in Bihar, Ramkripal Yadav stated, “The MLC elections have concluded, and it is a matter of joy that they were held unopposed. I congratulate and wish all the elected representatives well.”
