New Delhi, June 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has celebrated the achievements dedicated to women’s empowerment during his 12 years in office. He emphasized that the strength of Indian women is the foundation of nation-building. Our mothers, sisters, and daughters are enhancing the pride of Mother India with their remarkable talents and skills across various fields.
On Friday, Modi shared on the social media platform X, “Over the past 12 years, the NDA government has consistently worked towards promoting women-led development. The impact is clearly visible in every sector. From financial inclusion and entrepreneurship to education, healthcare, sanitation, housing, sports, science, and good governance, women are playing significant roles today.”
He further stated, “The efforts of the NDA government are based on the principles of respect, opportunity, and empowerment. These initiatives have created an environment where women can develop their full potential and contribute more effectively to nation-building.”
PM Modi expressed particular joy in seeing Indian women making their mark in fields like science, space, and innovation. Their increasing participation in emerging areas such as drone technology is opening new opportunities and accelerating development across the country. Our government is actively supporting self-help groups, which play a crucial role in making women economically self-reliant.
In another post, Prime Minister Modi shared a Sanskrit quote, stating, “The strength of Indian women is the foundation of nation-building. Our mothers, sisters, and daughters are enhancing the pride of Mother India with their remarkable talents and skills. Women are the creators of the three worlds, the embodiment of power.”
The Sanskrit verse emphasizes, “Women are the mothers of all three worlds. They are the expression of the universe and the true essence of strength.”
