Udaipur, March 1, 2026 : An ultra marathon titled “The Fort Ultra – Har Mile Itihaas Hai” was organised from City Palace, Udaipur to the historic Chittorgarh Fort as a tribute to Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap. The event commenced at 4 am from the historic Manak Chowk of City Palace with a flag-off ceremony conducted by ultra marathon runner Ramratan Jat.
Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Dr Mayank Gupta, informed that the 100-mile marathon is being held from March 1 to 2. The route covers Udaipur to Haldighati and further to Chittorgarh Fort, with the support of the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur. He said the marathon is a tribute echoing the ideals of Maharana Pratap through the Aravalli region.
Around 200 participants took part in the marathon, including members of the Mewar Runners Group.
On the occasion, Foundation Chairman and Managing Trustee Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar congratulated the runners and encouraged them for being part of the historic event.
