Fatehpur, May 28: Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has emphasized the importance of cow protection, urging citizens to vote for a government that respects cows as mothers rather than treating them as mere animals. He stated that efforts to protect cows are often limited to speeches and platforms, while the reality on the ground is dire. Conditions in cow shelters are poor, and cow trafficking remains unchecked, with only bureaucratic measures being taken.
Avimukteshwaranand criticized the public’s tendency to be swayed by political propaganda, asserting that those who speak the truth about cow welfare are often silenced. He remarked that political parties are merely factions, and for him, the existing government is the only one that matters.
He expressed concern over the inability of leaders to create jobs for the growing population, suggesting that this has led to a perception of the population as a burden. He believes that a larger population is a blessing if jobs are available.
The Swami declared that if the BJP grants cows the status of royal mothers, he would cease his campaign. He affirmed, “We will vote for cow protection; this is certain. We are providing an option for the public. We have formed a government for cow protection by voting for the BJP. They must come to us acknowledging cows as mothers.”
Just a day prior, on May 27, in Banda, he expressed disappointment in Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has connections to the Gorakhnath Peeth, stating that expectations for cow protection under his leadership have not been met. He labeled Adityanath as a failure in this regard, emphasizing that those who are most expected to fulfill their promises should be the first to deliver. He criticized the Chief Minister for ruling through fear and intimidation.
