STF Unveils Property Dealer Murder Case in Lucknow, Arrests Mastermind and Accomplice

Lucknow, June 1: The Special Task Force (STF) has made significant progress in the murder case of property dealer Sandeep Singh in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Two suspects, including the mastermind behind the crime, were arrested following the incident that occurred on May 27. The accused have been identified as Dinesh Kumar Yadav and Mukarrabeen, also known as Mubeen, both residents of Ambedkarnagar. The STF recovered a fake number plate, cash, and mobile phones used in the crime. The search for other suspects is ongoing.

According to the STF, a case was registered at the PGI police station regarding the shooting death of Sandeep Singh. On May 31, a tip-off indicated that one of the suspects was approaching the Dalouna underpass. Acting on this information, local police and STF teams apprehended a man who identified himself as Mukarrabeen. Following interrogation, Dinesh Kumar Yadav was summoned to the STF headquarters in Lucknow, where he was also arrested based on substantial evidence.

During questioning, Mukarrabeen revealed that he had been Dinesh Kumar Yadav’s driver since 2016. Dinesh was involved in various property dealings and had been in a long-standing dispute with Sandeep Singh over a plot of land in Samda. This ongoing conflict had led to numerous lawsuits and complaints from Singh, causing Dinesh considerable distress.

Mukarrabeen stated, “Dinesh was frustrated and suggested that we needed to eliminate Sandeep Singh. I negotiated with someone to carry out the murder for 500,000 rupees. That person arranged for two shooters, and I facilitated their stay in Lucknow. Following Dinesh’s instructions, I showed the shooters the routes Sandeep Singh took. To execute the plan, I was given money by Dinesh to buy a motorcycle. I purchased a second-hand Apache motorcycle from Aminabad, removed the real number plate, and replaced it with a fake one to conduct surveillance and carry out the act.”

According to Dinesh Kumar Yadav’s account, the shooters were instructed to carry out the murder on May 27. Under the pretext of celebrating the festival of Bakrid, both he and Mukarrabeen left town to create an alibi. On the afternoon of May 27, the shooters informed them that Sandeep Singh had been killed. Dinesh Kumar Yadav already has nine criminal cases registered against him.
