
Coimbatore, June 22: Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar inaugurated the 12th International Yoga Day celebrations at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) on Sunday. He participated in this global event dedicated to physical and mental health alongside hundreds of students, teachers, and members of the public.
The event, part of a nationwide International Yoga Day program, saw enthusiastic participation from individuals of all age groups. Activities included group yoga demonstrations, awareness sessions, and interactive activities aimed at highlighting the benefits of yoga in daily life.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Arlekar emphasized the growing importance of yoga in modern society.
