
Mumbai, June 1: A tragic incident has occurred in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, where a 19-year-old man reportedly took his own life using his father’s licensed firearm. The police reported that the young man recorded a video on his mobile phone prior to the act.
The incident took place in the village of Chak Fazalpur, under the Kundarki police jurisdiction.
The victim has been identified as Farhat Ali, who allegedly shot himself inside his home. Authorities are currently investigating the video to understand the circumstances surrounding his death.
Preliminary findings suggest that the young man may have been struggling with family issues. Investigators are examining all aspects to determine the reasons behind this tragic event.
Upon receiving news of the incident, Uttar Pradesh police officials arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. The licensed firearm used in the incident has also been seized.
The family is reportedly in deep shock and mourning following the incident.
Speaking on the matter, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Kunwar Akash Singh confirmed that the event occurred on the night of May 30. He stated that the young man had committed suicide with his father’s licensed weapon.
The police are questioning family members and others connected to the case to uncover the reasons behind this tragedy.
Additionally, the viral video is under scrutiny, and officials believe that the true cause of the incident will be clarified once the investigation is complete.
In a related incident, police in Bhopal recovered a handwritten suicide note from the room of a 16-year-old girl, the daughter of a senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, who allegedly took her own life in her family’s government residence in the upscale Char Imli area.
