Beijing, April 14: The sixth China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) is taking place this week from Monday to Saturday in Hainan Province, South China. This expo marks the first major exhibition of the “15th Five-Year Plan” (2026–2030) and is also the first significant event since the full island operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
This year’s expo features an exhibition area that is 13,000 square meters larger than last year. The proportion of international exhibits has increased to 65%. Over 200 new products are being showcased, indicating a high level of openness in consumer consumption.
A highlight of this year’s expo is the “First-Time Exhibition,” showcasing nearly double the number of new products compared to last year. In Hall No. 2’s Fashion Trend Zone, diamond and pearl jewelry is being displayed for the first time globally, along with gold jewelry making its debut in China. These exhibits clearly reflect Chinese aesthetics through craftsmanship and design.
Several new products are drawing significant attention. As the exhibition commenced on Monday afternoon, crowds flocked to various stalls with cameras in hand. Major attractions include the world’s first land-air dual-mode flying vehicle and cars equipped with advanced technology promoting smart travel.
The technology consumption sector is witnessing the largest crowds, with over 50 global consumer electronics and cutting-edge technology companies presenting their latest AI products. These include AI glasses, AI recliners, healthcare robots, smart network vehicles, and smart home products. The “Urban Health Intelligent Service Center” exemplifies the integration of safety, fitness, and convenience.
Foreign visitors have noted that China’s manufacturing sector ranks among the best in the world. They have expressed admiration for the advanced products on display, including robots, motorcycles, and cars, which are highly impressive.
