Celebration of Americas 250th Anniversary Kicks Off in New Delhi with Trump-Themed Vehicles

New Delhi, April 14: The celebration of America’s 250th anniversary commenced in New Delhi on Tuesday, as announced by U.S. Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor. The event featured vehicles adorned with historical images of Donald Trump and other iconic American symbols.

This celebration highlights the strength of the India-U.S. partnership. Ambassador Gor expressed his excitement on the social media platform X, stating, “We are thrilled to kick off the Freedom-250 celebrations from New Delhi. We are showcasing these magnificent vehicles featuring images of U.S. President Donald Trump and other notable American visuals.”

He added, “As part of this special journey, these vehicles will travel throughout the city. While we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we also honor the strength and enthusiasm of the U.S.-India partnership. Stay with us as Freedom-250 travels across India.”

Ambassador Gor welcomed efforts by countries trying to end conflicts in West Asia, mentioning that if India wishes to participate, it would be welcomed. However, he emphasized that the decision rests solely with India.

He noted that President Trump does not discriminate regarding which nations can assist in resolving ongoing conflicts in West Asia.

On Tuesday, Trump discussed the global energy crisis caused by the West Asia conflict during a phone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They addressed the situation in West Asia and the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and secure. This was the first conversation between Modi and Trump following a temporary ceasefire.

Prime Minister Modi shared on X, “I received a call from my friend, President Donald Trump. We reviewed the significant progress in our bilateral cooperation across various sectors. We are committed to further strengthening our ‘comprehensive global strategic partnership.’ We also discussed the situation in West Asia and emphasized the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and secure.”
