Significance of Aadhik Bhanu Saptami on June 7, 2026: A Day of Rare Astrological Alignments

New Delhi, June 6: The Panchang holds great significance in Sanatan Dharma. It determines the day’s auspicious and inauspicious moments based on its five components: Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, Vara, and Tithi. This Sunday marks the Saptami Tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Jyeshtha. Notably, June 7, 2026, is celebrated as Aadhik Bhanu Saptami. Due to the unique positioning of the Sun and Moon, a rare conjunction of DwiPushkar Yoga and Ravi Yoga is occurring, making this day particularly auspicious.

Aadhik Bhanu Saptami is dedicated to the worship of Sun God. Currently, the auspicious month of Purushottam is ongoing, and the Saptami Tithi during this month is referred to as Aadhik Bhanu Saptami. Special rituals for the worship of Sun God are observed on this day. Sunrise will occur at 5:23 AM, and sunset will be at 7:17 PM.

According to the Panchang for June 7, the Saptami Tithi will last throughout the day until 3:24 AM on June 8. The Nakshatra Dhanishta will be in effect until 7:55 AM, followed by Shatabhisha Nakshatra. Vaidhriti Yoga will be active until 10:02 AM, and Karana Vishti will last until 3:07 PM.

Regarding the auspicious timings on Sunday, both DwiPushkar Yoga and Ravi Yoga will be active from 5:23 AM to 7:55 AM. Engaging in virtuous activities during DwiPushkar Yoga yields double the benefits, while Ravi Yoga brings special blessings from the Sun. Activities such as bathing, charity, chanting, meditation, and visiting deities are considered highly auspicious during this time. The significance of worshiping Sun God is heightened on Aadhik Bhanu Saptami.

Brahma Muhurat will be from 4:02 AM to 4:42 AM. Abhijit Muhurat will occur from 11:52 AM to 12:48 PM, and Vijay Muhurat will be from 2:39 PM to 3:35 PM. The Ghodhuli Muhurat will be auspicious from 7:16 PM to 7:36 PM.

On the other hand, inauspicious timings should be noted. The Panchak will persist throughout the day on Sunday, suggesting that new ventures, auspicious activities, or travel should be postponed. Bhadrā will be present from 5:23 AM to 3:07 PM, during which no new work or auspicious tasks should be initiated. Rahukal will be from 5:33 PM to 7:17 PM, Yamgand from 12:20 PM to 2:04 PM, and Gulika Kaal from 3:49 PM to 5:33 PM. Additionally, the Durmuhurt will be from 5:26 PM to 6:22 PM.
