
Dhanbad, June 26: A shocking incident has emerged from Dhanbad district in Jharkhand. Police have solved the murder case of Tuleshwar Nonia. Authorities revealed that the victim’s own son plotted the murder to secure a job through the compassionate appointment scheme.
On Thursday, Rural SP S. Mohammad Yakub announced the arrest of three suspects: Vijay Nonia, Akhilesh Mallah, and Amit Kumar Singh. According to police, Vijay Nonia, the victim’s middle son, conspired to kill his father to obtain a position at Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) under the compassionate appointment scheme.
During the investigation, it was discovered that he allegedly arranged a deal worth 1 million rupees to carry out the murder. Reports indicate that he executed this plan in a premeditated manner with the help of the other two accused.
Police stated that they solved the case based on technical evidence, continuous questioning, and other investigative information. Officials confirmed that the crime was planned in advance and executed accordingly.
The incident came to light on June 20 at around 4:45 AM when police were informed by a watchman about a body found near bushes along the PCC road between Chitahi and Barora. A police team from Barora station arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and initiated an investigation.
The deceased was later identified as Tuleshwar Nonia, an employee of BCCL. Initial investigations suggested he was killed by a stone attack.
SP Yakub indicated that the investigation pointed towards familial and financial motives behind the crime. Based on evidence and questioning, all three suspects have been apprehended.
Police confirmed that further legal action is underway, and investigations are ongoing to determine if any other individuals were involved in the conspiracy to murder Nonia.
