
Noida, June 23: The Sector-126 police in Noida have arrested two notorious suspects involved in vehicle theft. The police recovered a stolen motorcycle and an illegal knife from their possession. Both suspects are residents of the Madanpur Khadar area in Delhi, and further investigations are underway into other vehicle theft cases based on their interrogation.
According to police reports, on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, the Sector-126 police team, assisted by local intelligence, was checking suspicious individuals and vehicles in the area. During this operation, the police noticed two young men riding a motorcycle in a suspicious manner in Sector-94. Upon stopping them for questioning and verifying the vehicle’s documents, it was discovered that the motorcycle was stolen, leading to their immediate arrest.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Dinesh alias Dev, son of Sadlu, and Akash Kumar, son of Bhagwan Singh, both from JJ Colony, Madanpur Khadar, Delhi. They are approximately 20 years old. The police recovered a Hero Splendor motorcycle from their possession. During questioning, the suspects admitted to stealing the motorcycle from the Shaheen Bagh area of Delhi.
Verification by the police revealed that a case had been registered at the Shaheen Bagh police station in Delhi on June 10, 2026, regarding this theft. Additionally, an illegal knife was found on Akash Kumar during the search, prompting further action against him under the Arms Act.
Authorities are currently investigating the suspects’ criminal backgrounds to determine if they are linked to a larger vehicle theft gang. A case has been registered at the Sector-126 police station under various sections, including the Arms Act. The suspects have been presented in court, and legal proceedings have commenced.
