Shivraj Singh Chouhan Congratulates New BJP State Committee Members in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, June 23: Central Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister and former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has extended his congratulations to the newly appointed members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state committee in Madhya Pradesh.

In a statement posted on his X handle, Chouhan expressed confidence that the appointees would uphold the party’s ideology, principles, and commitment to national service. He urged them to work diligently towards good governance, development, and ensuring that welfare schemes reach the last person in society.

The BJP in Madhya Pradesh has released a new list of 106 members for the state committee as part of its ongoing organizational changes. State BJP President Hemant Khandelwal issued this notification on Tuesday, which includes names of leaders aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots structure to tackle future electoral and developmental challenges.

The list features a mix of experienced leaders, young talents, and representatives from various sections of society. Notable names include Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Union Minister Virendra Kumar, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jagdish Deora, Prahlad Patel, Kailash Vijayvargiya, Rakesh Singh, Uday Pratap Singh, Narottam Mishra, Faggan Singh Kulaste, Tulsi Silawat, Govind Singh, Arvind Bhadoria, Brijendra Pratap Singh, Lal Singh Arya, and Om Prakash Dhurve.

Other members include women leaders like Krishna Gaur, Brajaraj Singh Chouhan, Divyraj Singh, Durgadas Uike, Rampal Singh, Pradyumna Singh Tomar, Rajendra Shukla, Sanjay Pathak, Sumitra Valmiki, Imarti Devi, Lalita Yadav, and Hemlata Kumhare. The committee also reflects regional diversity, featuring leaders like Sanjay Shah, Kamal Patel, and Gajendra Patel, along with representatives from tribal and backward classes.

Party sources indicated that this reshuffle has reduced the overall size of the previous executive, aiming for improved efficiency. Special invitees include district presidents, heads of frontal organizations, and co-opted members. This move aligns with the directives of National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, focusing on strengthening booth-level operations and development goals for the 2020s.
