Bhopal, June 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh has finally unveiled its state working committee after much anticipation. The committee comprises a total of 106 members, with over 33% being women. State President Hemant Khandelwal announced the details of the committee, as shared by State General Secretary Rahul Kothari. This announcement follows directives from the party’s national leadership regarding the formation of the working committee, which includes a list of permanent and special invitees.
Kothari stated that the committee was formed in accordance with the party’s constitution, ensuring that women have significant representation. Efforts were made to include representatives from various classes, communities, and sectors within the working committee.
He further mentioned that a separate list of special invitees was created to guide senior leaders. The committee ensures adequate representation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, minorities, and backward classes.
Kothari emphasized that the formation of the committee aligns with BJP’s principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with all, Development for all). The first meeting of the BJP state working committee is scheduled to take place around July 15 in Orchha.
He added that all selected members are encouraged to actively participate in organizational responsibilities in line with the party’s core principles. Special invitees include divisional in-charges, district in-charges, front presidents, and state coordinators of various cells. Additional special invitees will be appointed as needed in the future.
