International Youth Day

Udaipur, August 12 (Kiran News). “Dedication to the nation seeks no return. It leads a person towards divinity, for the nation is an extension of the heart. Today’s youth stand before unprecedented global challenges, and to face them, they must illuminate themselves in the fire of divinity, giving purpose to their existence. Only then can they become visionaries of an inclusive, developed India.”

International Youth Day

These thoughts were expressed during a seminar organised by Shantipeeth Sansthan on the occasion of International Youth Day.

Initiating the discussion, Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Pharmacy Professor at BN College, wished the youth a bright future and said that youth power is the backbone of any society. He emphasised that transformation comes from their energy, enthusiasm, and innovative spirit, expressing confidence that the youth have the ability to turn dreams into reality and reach new heights.

Shantipeeth founder Anant Ganesh Trivedi called upon young people to make the 21st century a century of joy. He urged them to balance science and wisdom, move towards inclusive development, rise above linguistic, caste, and regional divides, dedicate themselves to the nation, and give new momentum to the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. He stressed that in the present circumstances, wisdom alone can elevate their personality and prevent decline.

Dr. D. S. Rathore, Head of the Environmental Department at MLS University, referred to the current existential crisis, noting that development activities have created environmental imbalance, making climate change the biggest challenge. He called upon the youth to step forward as warriors to address this issue, considering it their foremost duty.

Kailash Paliwal, Kapil Sahu, and Dr. Laxminarayan Dashora also shared their views. The vote of thanks was delivered by G. L. Patidar.
