Rohan Gandotra Shares Challenges Faced During Nasha Shoot

Mumbai, April 7: In the entertainment industry, what audiences see on screen often results from the hard work of the actors behind the scenes. This is especially true when a story is filled with emotions. Actors not only need to perform but also feel the pain of their characters. Rohan Gandotra recently opened up about his experiences while shooting for his project, ‘Nasha.’

Rohan Gandotra stars alongside Sunny Leone in this Vikram Bhatt-directed film. The story revolves around a love triangle, showcasing themes of love, betrayal, heartbreak, and emotional turmoil. It explores a facet of relationships where love gradually turns dark, intensifying the tension among the characters.

Reflecting on his experience, Rohan mentioned that one particular scene was among the most challenging he has faced. He stated, “This scene was exhausting both physically and mentally. At times, I felt my body giving up, but as an actor, I had to remain true to my character’s emotions. I had to fully immerse myself in that moment to make the scene feel authentic.”

Rohan further explained, “My goal was not just to act but to convey the pain that my character was experiencing to the audience. I wanted viewers to not only see the pain but also feel it. To achieve this, I pushed my limits and gave my all in every scene.”

The scene in question required Rohan to smoke continuously while portraying a broken character. This necessitated multiple retakes, which took a toll on his health. He shared that the repeated smoking during each take began to affect his well-being, making the shoot even more exhausting. Despite this, he persevered and continued to work hard to improve the scene.
