According to the latest forecast from the India Meteorological Department, temperatures are expected to rise steadily in the coming days, potentially reaching a maximum of 39 to 40 degrees Celsius by April 19.
The minimum temperature is also projected to gradually increase, possibly reaching 23 degrees Celsius. As per the forecast available on the meteorological department’s website, the maximum temperature recorded on April 14 is 36 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 20 degrees. Strong surface winds are expected today, providing some relief, but the heat is anticipated to intensify afterward.
On April 15, the maximum temperature is expected to remain at 36 degrees, with a minimum of 21 degrees. The temperatures may rise to 37 degrees on April 16 and 17. By April 18, the maximum temperature could reach 38 degrees, with a minimum of 22 degrees. Following this, temperatures are projected to hit 39 degrees on April 19, while the minimum may hover around 23 degrees. Clear skies are expected throughout these days, which will likely make the sun feel even more intense.
Experts warn that clear skies combined with rising temperatures may lead to heatwave-like conditions during the day. Additionally, there is a gradual increase in the air quality index. Despite strong winds, the reduction in pollution levels remains limited, and the combination of rising heat and deteriorating air quality could become a concern in the coming days.
