Rajasthan BJP President Targets Gehlot, Accuses Congress of Dynastic Politics

Jaipur, March 28: Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore criticized former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday for his recent statement advising BJP leaders to keep their sons away from politics.

Rathore claimed that the Congress party is mired in dynastic politics, which he identified as its greatest weakness. He accused Congress of tarnishing the nation’s image and misleading the public.

In response to Gehlot’s advice, Rathore alleged that the former Chief Minister himself is afflicted by nepotism. He asserted that Gehlot has made several attempts to promote his son, Vaibhav Gehlot, in politics, but these efforts have not succeeded.

Rathore remarked, “It is inappropriate to preach one thing and practice another. Advice holds value only when one follows it.” He emphasized that the public is aware of this practice and that the opposition will have to answer for it in the coming days.

Addressing comments regarding Pakistan’s role in the Iran-Israel conflict, Rathore reiterated that India has always made it clear that it does not play the role of a broker in international affairs.

He questioned Gehlot’s remarks, suggesting they do not align with national interests. Gehlot had recently raised concerns about External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s use of the term “broker” for Pakistan.

Rathore also accused Congress of spreading unrest by repeatedly highlighting shortcomings and crises. He stated that under the Prime Minister’s leadership, India’s global standing has strengthened, welfare schemes are reaching citizens, and the country is achieving new milestones in various sectors, including space.

Amid rising tensions in West Asia, Rathore urged unity in the national interest, asserting that this is not the time for political rhetoric. He criticized the opposition for targeting the government over fuel prices and other issues despite the sensitive global situation.
