Vijayawada, April 14: Syed Pasha, the head of the BJP Minority Front, has raised questions regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s upcoming visit to West Bengal. Pasha pointed out that Gandhi has not visited the state in the past five years. However, with the growing realization that the BJP is poised to form a government there, Gandhi has decided to engage in election campaigning in West Bengal.
In an interview on Tuesday, Pasha claimed that after Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi would also campaign in the state. He emphasized that the primary reason for Rahul Gandhi’s visit is the acknowledgment that this time, the BJP will undoubtedly establish a government in West Bengal. BJP leaders are prepared to take charge, prompting Rahul Gandhi’s decision to visit.
Pasha criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating that despite her long tenure, she has failed to deliver any significant development in the state. He noted that the public is dissatisfied with Banerjee’s governance, leading them to seek change in the upcoming assembly elections. It is unfortunate, he said, that despite years in power, Banerjee has not initiated any developmental projects. The people of West Bengal are no longer willing to accept this situation.
He concluded by asserting that no matter how many Congress leaders campaign in the state, the BJP is set to form the government. The public has firmly decided to support the BJP.
