Putins Praise for Modi Highlights Trust, Says Shah Nawaz Hussain

New Delhi, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Senior BJP leader Shah Nawaz Hussain responded to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, particularly regarding Modi’s efforts to end the Ukraine conflict. Hussain emphasized that Putin holds the highest trust in Modi among world leaders.

Hussain noted that Modi was the first leader to visit Russia and clearly state, “We come from the land of Buddha and we are not in favor of war.” Modi’s appeal to both nations to cease hostilities resonated well with President Putin, according to Hussain.

The BJP leader further asserted that Putin respects Modi greatly and trusts him unequivocally. He suggested that if there is anyone in the world whom Putin relies on, it is Prime Minister Modi.

In a separate context, Hussain sharply criticized the opposition’s protests regarding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and alleged discrepancies in the Special Intensive Review of the voter list. He called the demonstrations baseless, claiming the opposition lacks substantial issues to address.

Hussain pointed out that despite global tensions, including conflicts involving Iran, the U.S., and Israel, India’s economy remains robust, a testament to Modi’s effective financial management. He argued that had a different government been in power, the situation could have been dire.

He further remarked that the opposition is struggling to find pertinent issues to raise, suggesting that when they face electoral defeats, they blame the Election Commission instead of taking responsibility.

Hussain highlighted the inconsistency in the opposition’s stance, noting that when they win elections in states like Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu, the Election Commission is deemed reliable. However, losses lead to accusations against the commission and electronic voting machines.

He concluded that the protests stem from desperation, particularly as the Aam Aadmi Party faces setbacks in Delhi, and the Congress party has lost numerous elections. Hussain implied that the Congress is attempting to shift blame to the Election Commission before potentially facing a hundred losses.
