Deputy CM Keshav Maurya Predicts NDA Victory in 2027 UP Elections

Kanpur, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh‘s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will emerge victorious in the 2027 assembly elections. He stated that the Samajwadi Party (SP) will have no choice but to retreat to Saifai following the election results.

Speaking to the media in Kanpur, Maurya criticized SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, labeling his party’s initiatives as a facade. He claimed that Yadav’s “PDA” is merely a cover for supporting criminals and anti-social elements.

Maurya warned that Yadav is allegedly plotting under the guise of the PDA but will ultimately fail. He confidently predicted that when the votes are cast and results are tallied, the SP will visibly head towards Saifai.

Regarding the opposition’s protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Maurya praised the Election Commission‘s actions as historic. He emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supports the Special Identification Register (SIR), which aims to remove illegal voters from the electoral rolls, a move he said has caused distress primarily to the Congress and its allies.

Looking ahead to the 2027 elections, Maurya expressed confidence that the BJP will secure a significant majority in Uttar Pradesh for the third consecutive time. He remarked that the SP will not return to power until at least 2047, when a developed India and a developed Uttar Pradesh are realized.

Minister Jaiveer Singh also weighed in on the opposition’s India alliance, dismissing it as a collection of self-serving parties. He noted that the electorate has rejected these parties in previous elections, both at the national and state levels.

In response to claims about BJP legislators’ connections with the SP, Maurya affirmed that the BJP remains united and strong, ready to form a government once again in Uttar Pradesh with a decisive majority.
