Preparations Intensify for Sawan Mela in Ayodhya, Ensuring Smooth Darshan for Devotees

Ayodhya, July 28: With the increasing number of devotees ahead of Guru Purnima and the start of the Shravan month, the administration and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust have ramped up preparations. Mahant Dinendra Das stated that there will be no issues for devotees wishing to have darshan of Ram Lalla, and better facilities will continue to be provided in the coming days.

Speaking to reporters, Mahant Dinendra Das assured that the arrangements for darshan are running smoothly, and devotees are not facing any difficulties. He mentioned that all religious rituals are being conducted as per tradition at the Ram Temple, with priests performing the ceremonies diligently. The saints and mahants are also satisfied with the arrangements.

Regarding the Jhoola Utsav during Sawan, he shared that this year, Ram Lalla will be placed on a traditional silver swing. He emphasized that the government and temple administration are continuously improving arrangements for the convenience of the devotees.

Meanwhile, Ayodhya’s Circle Officer (CO) Ashutosh Tiwari reported that extensive security measures have been implemented in anticipation of a large influx of devotees during the Sawan Jhoola Mela. The entire fair area has been divided into nine sectors, each staffed with adequate police personnel.

He added that teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and additional police forces have been deployed at sensitive locations. To enhance security, the entire fair area will be monitored through CCTV cameras, drone surveillance, and a control room.

CO Ashutosh Tiwari also noted that the water level of the Saryu River is rising. Consequently, all boating activities have been suspended until further notice to ensure the safety of the devotees.
