New Delhi, June 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has achieved a remarkable milestone as the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in the country. This achievement has drawn responses from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Om Birla remarked that Modi’s continuous service for 4,399 days symbolizes the strength of Indian democracy and public trust.
In a post on ‘X’, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla stated, “Today, Prime Minister and Leader of the House Narendra Modi has established a historic record for the longest continuous service as an elected Prime Minister in independent India. This milestone of 4,399 days reflects the robustness of our democratic values and institutions.”
He further added, “During this period, constitutional values and parliamentary democracy have been strengthened through healthy parliamentary processes and traditions. I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Prime Minister on this exceptional achievement. May his leadership continue to guide the nation towards progress, good governance, and the realization of a developed India.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated PM Modi, stating, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to PM Modi on this historic achievement of serving as the longest-elected Prime Minister. These 12 years have been a period of national pride, cultural renaissance, and liberation from a colonial mindset.”
In his post on ‘X’, Shah highlighted significant developments during Modi’s tenure, including the construction of the new Parliament, the implementation of three new laws, the introduction of a new education policy, and the promotion of education in native languages for medical and engineering fields. He noted that the vision of a self-reliant India has become a commitment for every citizen.
Shah emphasized that during these 12 years, the nation’s borders have been secured, Article 370 was revoked, the Ram Temple was constructed, and efforts against Naxalism and terrorism have been intensified. He stated that the collective strength of the nation has learned to take pride in its heritage, culture, and capabilities.
He concluded by saying that ensuring the safety of citizens and restoring their lost dignity and pride is PM Modi’s greatest achievement. Today, a new India confidently establishes its identity on every global platform, and the world witnesses the rise of a capable, empowered, and new India.
