Tragic Car Accident on Dwarka Expressway Claims Two Lives in Gurugram

Gurugram, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : A tragic incident occurred late Thursday night on the Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram, Haryana, where a car struck four individuals, resulting in two deaths and leaving two others seriously injured. The injured victims were promptly taken to a private hospital for treatment.

According to Gurugram police, the collision happened around 2:30 AM near Shri Ram Chowk in New Palam Vihar. A speeding white car, traveling from Delhi, hit the four workers who were installing a grill on the expressway.

As of now, the identities of the deceased have not been confirmed. Police arrived at the scene and have sent the bodies for postmortem examination, while the injured individuals are receiving medical care.

In a separate incident earlier, a father and son lost their lives in a road accident near Bastara Toll Plaza on a national highway in Karnal. Sub-Inspector Manoj Kumar reported that the victims were riding a motorcycle when they were struck by a car while heading towards Karnal.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Arsh and Mohammad Zafar, residents of Meerut who worked in the area. A relative mentioned that the son died at the scene, while the father succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

The family identified the victims through shared photos in a group and contacted the police for more information. The vehicle involved in the collision has been seized, but no arrests have been made yet. Authorities stated that an investigation into the incidents is ongoing.
